What is Supplemental Accident Coverage? Supplemental Accident coverage is first dollar coverage that is paid by the insurance company in front of your deductible in the event of an accident, such as a broken bone or a trip to the ER for stitches. Humana One offers you the option to add either $500 or $1000 first dollar supplemental accident coverage to your health plan. This is an excellent option to add to an HSA compatible plan, such as the Total Plus Rx HSA, and it is offered at a very resonable price. Use the quoting function to determine the cost of adding a supplemental accident benefit to your healthplan.
